किसी भी मकान के आमतौर पर चार कोने होते हैं, परन्तु कुछ प्लाट आड़े - तिरछे भी होते हैं जिस कारण उनके चार से ज्यादा भी कोने पाये जाते हैं। ऐसी स्थिति में इन कोनों का कोण कुछ ज्यादा ही छोटा हो जाता है, इसे कोण वेध कहा जाता है।
इस तरह के मकान में रहने वाले सदस्यों को मृत्यु के बराबर कष्ट उठाने पड़ते हैं। तरह-तरह की गम्भीर बीमारियां घर के सदस्यों को लगी रहती हैं। जिसमें परिवार के धन की हानि होती है और साथ ही परिवार के अन्य सदस्यों को भी तकलीफें उठानी पड़ती हैं।
इसके अतिरिक्त यदि किसी प्लाट पर कोणों की संख्या 3 हो, 5 या उससे ज्यादा हो तो भी मकान में कोण वेध उत्पन्न रहता है। अतः कोण वेध के द्वारा बहुत ही ज्यादा विषम परिस्थितयां पैदा होती हैं और इससे सदैव ही बचना चाहिये।
