रोगी काया होने से मनुष्य अपने जीवन का खुलकर आनन्द नहीं ले पाता है, आपको कहीं घूमने जाना है, कुछ खाना-पीना है, साहसिक कार्य अथवा गेम प्ले करने हैं। इन सभी कार्यों के लिये आपको निरोगी रहना ही होगा।
जीवन का सबसे बड़ा सुख है निरोग रहना। पृथ्वी पर सबसे बड़ा सुख होता है निरोगी काया का होना। हमारे ऋषि भी कह गये हैं कि पहला सुख निरोगी काया और दूसरा सुख जेब में माया।
माया यानि कि धन। इस धन को कमाने के लिये और उसके उपभोग के लिये आपको अपने शरीर को हर हाल में स्वस्थ रखना अत्यन्त ही जरूरी होता है। आपका शरीर, जी हाँ आपका शरीर यही वो जगह है जहाँ आपने जीवन भर रहना होता है। जिस तरह आप अपने घर, आफिस, कार या अन्य इस्तेमाल करने वाली जगह का ध्यान रखते हैं, बिल्कुल उसी तरह यह भी परम आवश्यक है कि आप अपने शरीर का बहुत ही अच्छी तरह से ध्यान रखें।
इससे ज्यादा मुझे समझाने की जरूरत नहीं है कि शरीर का स्वस्थ रहना कितना जरूरी है न ही इससे ज्यादा मैं आपको कुछ बताउँगा। अब हम आगे चलते हैं कि किस तरह वास्तु का उपयोग करके आप अपने स्वास्थ्य को ठीक रख सकते हैं।
सर्वप्रथम वास्तु का एक मूल नियम है जो कि सभी बिन्दुओं पर कार्य करता है वह यह कि आपको अपना घर साफ-सुथरा रखना चाहिये। आपका घर साफ होगा तो अधिकांश नकारात्मकता स्वतः ही आपके घर से दूरी बनाने लगती है।
अब हम मुख्य बिन्दु पर बात करेंगे स्वास्थ्य की, भवन में स्वास्थ्य की दिशा होती है उत्तर-उत्तर-पूर्व। इस दिशा को यदि आप संतुलन में रखेंगे तो यह आपको उत्तम स्वास्थ्य प्रदान करती है। इस दिशा को संतुलन में रखने का मतलब है कि आपने स्वास्थ्य को उत्तम रखने का मूल मंत्र ग्रहण करना शुरू कर दिया है।
किसी भी प्रकार की बीमारी यदि किसी व्यक्ति को लग जाती है तब विशेष रूप से आपको इस दिशा को देखने की जरूरत होती है किसी भी दशा में इस दिशा में गन्दगी कूड़ा-कबाड़ नहीं होना चाहिये। वैसे यह दिशा देवताओं की दिशा भी होती है, अतः यह दिशा हर सूरत में साफ रखनी चाहिये। कोई भी सामान यहाँ अव्यवस्थित रूप में नहीं होना चाहिये कि वह कबाड़ की तरह दिखाई दे।
नीला इस दिशा का अनुकूल रंग होता है और तत्व होता है जल तो आपको चाहिये कि इस दिशा में नीले रंग की थीम इस्तेमाल करें। दीवारों का रंग, फर्निशिंग का रंग, सजावटी सामान का रंग नीले रंग का होना चाहिये, शेड चाहे किसी भी तरह को हो यानि नीले रंग का हल्का या डार्क कोई भी शेड आप इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं। नीले रंग की फैमिली इस दिशा को मजबूती प्रदान करती है।
इसके अतिरिक्त इस दिशा में आप काला, ग्रे अथवा हरा रंग भी इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं परन्तु यह रंग इस दिशा के लिये सामान्य रंग होते हैं यानि ये न तो आपको नुक्सान पहुँचाते हैं और न ही फायदा। इनसे अतिरिक्त कोई भी रंग आपको इस दिशा में इस्तेमाल नहीं करने चाहिये।
अगर आपके भवन में यह दिशा कमजोर है या कोई सदस्य बीमार है तो आपको नीले रंग की थीम को प्राथमिकता देनी चाहिये।
दूसरी बात किसी भी तरह की विरोधी गतिविधि इस दिशा में नहीं होनी चाहिये। यह किसी भी तरह की विरोधी गतिविधि इस दिशा में है तो उसको जल्द से जल्द यहाँ से हटा देना चाहिये। यह बात आपको हमेशा याद रखनी चाहिये कि वास्तु में सभी वस्तुओं को रखने की जगह पहले से ही तय होती है। यदि आप कोई भी वस्तु उस दिशा से अलग रखते हैं तो निश्चित रूप से वह आपको नुक्सान देगी ही देगी। वास्तु अनुसार शिक्षा, धन रखने की जगह, किचन, बाथरूम, शौचालय आदि सभी की जगह पहले से निर्धारित होती है। अतः आपको उपयुक्त गतिविधि सही दिशा में ही करनी चाहिये।
