यदि आपका मन उदास और तनावपूर्ण है साथ ही आप हताशा महसूस कर रहे हैं तो प्रकृति की छांव में बैठने से आपको मानसिक और आध्यात्मिक शांति का अहसास होता है। इसलिए मनुष्य अपने घर में थोड़ा से हिस्से में बगीचा अवश्यक बनाते हैं। यहाँ यह लेख डालने का मतलब यह है कि आपको बगीचा बनाने के लिए वास्तु का भी ध्यान रखना चाहिये। सही दिशा के उपयोग से घर में कॉस्मिक ऊर्जा के प्रवाह को आसान बनाया जाता है। बगीचे को बनाने के लिये पूर्व या उत्तर दिशा सर्वश्रेष्ठ मानी जाती है।
इसके अतिरिक्त वी.एम.वी. वास्तु महा वास्तु के अनुसार बगीचे के लिए निम्न वास्तु उपाय हैं, जो आपको बगीचा बनाते समय करने चाहिये-
- तुलसी के पौधे उत्तर या पूर्व में शुभ होते हैं।
- यहाँ पर बहुत महत्वपूर्ण बात यह है कि आपका बगीचे में शांति और निर्मलता होना चाहिए क्योंकि यह वह क्षेत्र है जहाँ आप बैठकर आराम करते हैं।
- यदि आप फव्वारा लगाना चाहते हैं तो इसे उत्तर, उत्तर-पूर्व दिशा में लगाया जाना चाहिए। यह यश और धन में वृद्धि करता है। फव्वारे का जल प्रवाह घर की ओर होना चाहिए।
- सभी पौधों को स्वस्थ और अच्छी तरह से बनाए रखा जाना चाहिए।
- बगीचे में कैक्टस, बेर, बांस, बोनसाई आदि कांटेदार पौधों को नहीं लगाना चाहिये
- उत्तर दिशा में हमेशा खुला स्थान छोड़ना चाहिए।
- स्विमिंग पूल के लिए सबसे अच्छी दिशा उत्तर-पूर्व है। दक्षिण, दक्षिण-पूर्व और दक्षिण-पश्चिम दिशा स्विमिंग पूल के लिए उपयुक्त नहीं होती, अतः इस दिशा में स्विमिंग पूल नहीं बनाना चाहिये।
- गार्डन वास्तु के अनुसार पूर्व दिशा में बैठने का खुला क्षेत्र अच्छा माना जाता है।
- विशाल वृक्षों को दक्षिण दिशा में लगाना चाहिए।
- फल देने वाला पेड़ पूर्व दिशा में लगाया जा सकता है।
- एक बगीचे के केंद्र भाग को हमेशा खुला, हवादार और साफ रखें।
- गार्डन सुव्यवस्थित और साफ-सुथरा होना चाहिए।
- झूलों को उत्तर या पूर्व दिशा में झूलों को लगाया जा सकता है।
- पक्षियों के लिए पानी के बर्तन रखना अच्छा माना जाता है।
