ई-1 प्रवेश द्वार पूर्व दिशा के दिशा के क्षेत्र में आता है, यह पूर्व दिशा में स्थिति पहला पद है। पूर्व दिशा सामाजिक रिश्तों से जुड़ी होती है। जो लोग वी-एम-वी- ब्लाग से जुड़े हैं वो जानते हैं कि प्रत्येक दिशा में 8 प्रवेश द्वार के क्षेत्र होते हैं ई-1, ई-2, ई-3, ई-4, ई5, ई-6, ई-7, ई-8, जिसमें प्रत्येक क्षेत्र के अलग-अलग प्रभाव होते हैं। इस तरह से पूर्व दिशा में कुल 8 प्रवेश द्वार होते हैं।
उपरोक्त सभी प्रवेश द्वार के प्रभाव अलग-अलग होते हैं। चारों दिशाओं की अगर हम बात करें तो प्रत्येक दिशा में 8 द्वार के हिसाब से चारों दिशाओं में 32 प्रवेश द्वार होते हैं। इन 32 प्रवेश द्वारों में से कुछ शुभ होते हैं और कुछ अशुभ प्रभाव वाले। इनमें से शुभ प्रभाव वाले द्वारों का चयन करके उनमें प्रवेश द्वार बनाने पर मनुष्य को ज्यादा अच्छे परिणाम मिलते हैं।
अब हम यहाँ बात करेंगे पूर्व दिशा के ई-1 द्वार के बारे में- शिखी इस दिशा क्षेत्र के देवता होते हैं जिनका स्वभाव सौम्य न होकर उग्र होता है, मतलब यह दिशा क्षेत्र प्रवेश द्वार बनाने के लिये ठीक नही होता है। शिखी इस दिशा क्षेत्र के मालिक हैं, इसलिये इस प्रवेश द्वार क्षेत्र को शिखी के नाम से भी जाना जाता है।
इस दिशा में द्वार बनाने से भवन निवासियों को हानि मिलने लगती है, उनके मन में आग लगने का डर बना रहता है। इसके अतिरिक्त दुर्घटनायें होने का भी एक कारण इस दिशा क्षेत्र में द्वार बना होना पाया जाता है।
